Proverbs 27:17

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17).

It was a wonderful time when a group of us young Christians gave everything to God while praying and singing worship music beside a beautiful fire. God clearly tells us that our relationships with one another improve our Christian life and enable us to bring more glory to Him. That is why it’s so important who we surround ourselves with. By signing up for Purpose 2025 you will get the opportunity to meet so many young adult Christian’s and form life time friendships.

Some friendships come and go, and seasons of life often bring changes we don’t always expect. I’ve realized that the only constant in life is God. Nothing else is guaranteed—no matter the choices we make or the people we surround ourselves with. The one thing we can always count on is God’s faithfulness.

This truth really resonates, especially in the context of friendships. People enter and exit our lives for various reasons, and some relationships, no matter how hard we try, fade away. But God? He is always there, unchanging and faithful. We have to trust that He will place the right people in our lives when we need them, and sometimes He will move others to create space for new connections.

The key is to stay connected with Him, allowing Him to guide us through the highs and lows of relationships, trusting that His plan is perfect—even when it doesn’t make sense.
